The is a complete rip-off, and there is no need to pay it.<br /> <br /> Call Verizon and cancel it. The modern phone equiptment can&#039;t turn this feature off. They would like for you to pay extra for it, but if you cancel it, your phone will work exactly the way it did before.<br /> <br /> It became too much of a hassle to support pulse-only phones. When they are doing maintance on the phone lines, the phone tech&#039;s don&#039;t want to have to pulse dial the ANI code.
