Eclipse Workspace Location

If you move a project on disk and then find that Eclipse can no longer open it, all it not lost. You can readd the project, but you may lose run configurations. The alternative is to edit the location file where Eclipse is expecting to find the file. Edit WORKSPACE --> .metadata --> .plugins --> org.eclipse.core.resources --> .projects --> Folders --> .location . I found the file was binary, but I could edit the path in Notepad++ without altering the rest of the file.
