To enable versioning for an existing PowerCenter repository do the following:

  1. Open the Administration Console (web browser)
  2. Go to the Repository Service
  3. Under General Properties change the Operating Mode from Normal to Exclusive Mode
  4. Click Enable Version Control in the General Properties
  5. Change the Operating Mode back to Normal.
