Zend Framework: The Official Programmer’s Reference Guide

I love the Ruby on Rails framework, but I don't like the heavy deployment requirements. I can deploy dozens of idle php applications onto an Apache server with little more than unpacking a tar ball. I hope to investigate building PHP websites with a modern framework and OO PHP.
